Tax-Free Shopping Tax-Free Servies

We were pleased to announce that tax-free services officially began at our flagship store, MIRAILAB Wellness Branch, on Friday, February 20, 2026.
Tax-free procedures are completed right here in-store, so there is no need to handle any paperwork at the airport.
*Tax-free shopping is currently available only at our Ginza Store. 

Required Documents & Eligibility

~Identification~

  • Original Passport
  • Visit Japan Web Tax-Free QR Code
    Note: Photocopies or screenshots are not accepted.

~Eligibility~

  • The total daily purchase amount must not exceed ¥500,000 (excluding tax) per person, in accordance with Japanese law.
  • Total daily purchases must be at least ¥5,500 (excluding tax) at this store or combined with other PIEVAT partner merchants on the same day.
  • Non-resident foreign nationals with a “Temporary Visitor” (staying up to 6 months), “Diplomat,” or “Official” visa status.
  • Non-resident Japanese nationals who can provide official documentation (e.g., a Copy of Supplementary Family Register or Certificate of Residence) proving continuous residence outside of Japan for at least two years.

No Cash Refunds:Tax-free refunds are not processed in cash.
No Returns:Once the tax-free procedure is complete, items cannot be returned or exchanged.
