University of Tokyo announces that NMN improves motor function.

A research group led by Assistant Professor Masaki Igarashi, Dr. Yoshiko Nakagawa, Dr. Masaomi Miura, and Professor Toshimasa Yamauchi of the Department of Diabetes and Metabolism, University of Tokyo Hospital, conducted a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, parallel-group study in healthy elderly male subjects on the effects of oral nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN), a precursor of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+ ) (NMN), a precursor of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+), on the aging process, including muscle weakness.
